Marketing Manager for Loewe Perfumes in Tokyo, Japan. Lead luxury brand strategy, digital campaigns, and team development in this senior hybrid role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the marketing mix (360-degree, digital, retail, PR) to develop local strategies and plans that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales growth whilst adapting global brand guidelines
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand consumer behavior, preferences, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making
- Gather and provide relevant market intelligence to General Management and headquarters teams, including local analysis, market insights, monthly reporting, and qualitative feedback on launches, competitors, and market trends
- Develop and execute integrated marketing initiatives including advertising, promotions, events, and public relations to build brand awareness and customer loyalty
- Collaborate with global marketing headquarters to anticipate, adapt, and implement marketing plans, product launches, and PR activities that resonate with the local Japanese audience
- Ensure consistent brand positioning and identity across all marketing materials and customer touchpoints
- Establish KPIs for marketing performance including brand desirability, campaign effectiveness, and commercial contribution to guide decision-making
- Monitor performance against objectives and lead corrective actions when results deviate from plans or market conditions require strategic adjustments
- Build, develop, and motivate the marketing team with the talent and skills required to deliver strategic objectives and operational excellence
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure team success and professional development
- Develop and manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and ROI achievement
- Build strong marketing activation plans to increase market share within each retail partner channel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration; Master's degree in Marketing or Brand Luxury Management preferred
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Significant experience in the luxury beauty and perfumes market
- Extensive experience in PR and media marketing functions
- Demonstrated excellence in developing and executing 360-degree marketing strategies
- Proven ability to drive brand awareness and sales growth in competitive markets
- Strong understanding of Japanese retail market dynamics and consumer behavior

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in marketing within the luxury and beauty sectors, with at least 5 years in a marketing leadership role. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and commercial results. Significant experience in PR and media marketing functions within the Japanese or broader Asia Pacific market is essential.
Education
