Loewe Perfumes seeks experienced Marketing Manager in Tokyo to lead luxury fragrance strategy, brand building, and market growth in Japan.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive 360° marketing strategies encompassing digital, retail, and public relations initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales growth while adapting global brand guidelines to local market opportunities
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand consumer behavior, preferences, and competitive landscape; provide strategic insights and monthly reports to General Management and headquarters teams
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing initiatives including advertising campaigns, product launches, promotions, events, and PR activities to build brand desirability and loyalty
  • Collaborate closely with global marketing headquarters to anticipate, adapt, and implement marketing campaigns and product launches that resonate authentically with the local Japanese audience
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators for marketing effectiveness, brand desirability, campaign performance, innovation success, and commercial contribution; lead corrective actions when results deviate from strategic objectives
  • Build and develop marketing team talent through mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure the delivery of strategic objectives and operational excellence
  • Create targeted marketing activation plans with retail partners to increase market share; collaborate actively with Sales and Training teams to achieve commercial targets
  • Manage marketing budget allocation strategically, including pricing strategy, brand profitability analysis, promotion ratios, and P&L performance in accordance with local marketing plans and global guidelines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration; Master's degree in Marketing or Brand Luxury Management
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in marketing and brand management
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior marketing leadership role
  • Significant experience in the luxury beauty and fragrance market
  • Proven expertise in PR and media marketing functions
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to propose innovative solutions
