Marketing Manager position at Loewe Perfumes in Tokyo, Japan. Lead luxury fragrance and beauty marketing strategy for the Asia Pacific region.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the comprehensive marketing mix (360/digital/retail/PR) to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales growth while adapting global brand strategies to the local market
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand consumer behavior, preferences, and competitive landscape, informing strategic decision-making
- Gather and synthesize market intelligence for General Management and HQ teams, including local analysis, consumer insights, competitive monitoring, and trend forecasting
- Develop and execute integrated marketing initiatives including advertising, promotions, events, and public relations to build brand awareness and foster customer loyalty
- Collaborate regularly with global Marketing HQ to adapt and implement marketing campaigns, product launches, and PR activities that resonate with the local Japanese audience
- Ensure consistent brand positioning and identity across all marketing materials and customer touchpoints
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing effectiveness, brand desirability, campaign performance, and commercial contribution
- Analyze local reporting data and figures to optimize marketing strategies and drive performance improvements
- Build, develop, and motivate the marketing team to deliver strategic objectives and operational excellence
- Develop and manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation to achieve marketing goals and maximize ROI
- Partner with retail and sales teams to create marketing activation plans that increase market share within key retail channels
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration with a Master's degree in Marketing or Luxury Brand Management
- Minimum 8–10 years of professional marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a marketing leadership role
- Demonstrated expertise in the luxury and beauty markets
- Significant experience in PR and media marketing functions
- Fluency in Japanese and English (Spanish or French is a plus)
- Strategic thinker with ability to propose innovative solutions
- Proven track record as a people developer and leader
- Results-oriented and data-driven decision-maker
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Minimum 10 years of professional marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a marketing leadership position. Significant background in the luxury and beauty sectors is essential. Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across multiple channels is required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration; Master's degree in Marketing or Luxury Brand Management preferred.
