LOEWE, Getafe: Logistics Administrative Specialist for Control Tower maternity cover. Temporary full-time role managing transport operations and incident coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor daily transport expeditions, covering both inbound and outbound flows
- Ensure correct execution of shipments from planning through final delivery
- Maintain visibility on loads, routes, incidents, and operational priorities
- Detect, record, and resolve transport incidents including delays, failed deliveries, damages, and service deviations
- Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to implement corrective actions and minimize operational impact
- Act as operational point of contact for carriers, logistics operators, warehouses, and internal clients
- Ensure clear, rapid, and effective communication among all involved parties
- Review and validate transport invoices according to agreed rates and services provided
- Manage invoicing discrepancies and support accurate cost allocation
- Verify transport-related documentation and ensure correct administrative handling
- Operate transport management tools and systems with accuracy
- Maintain operational information updated and reliably recorded
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in transport operations, logistics coordination, traffic management, or Control Tower environments
- Education in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- Demonstrated ability to integrate quickly into operations and work autonomously
- Experience in logistics operators, freight forwarders, or companies with high transport activity
- Practical knowledge of national and international transport procedures
- Proficiency in TMS (Transport Management Systems) and/or ERP systems
- Advanced Excel competency for operational tracking and control
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in transport operations, logistics coordination, traffic management, or Control Tower environments. Practical knowledge of national and international transport is essential. Experience in logistics operators, freight forwarders, or organizations with high transport volumes is particularly valued. Customs experience is a plus.
Education
Education in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or similar fields is valued.
