Loewe is seeking a Leather Goods Department Manager for its Greene Street location in New York. The role leads and develops client advisors, drives leather goods performance and client experience, and oversees inventory and store operations; it is a permanent, full-time, on-site position.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the team to deliver business goals and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Set individual and team goals; review, manage and coach performance against expectations.
  • Provide regular, constructive feedback and in-the-moment coaching.
  • Identify, recruit and develop talent with the Store Manager or Director, and secure succession plans.
  • Lead by example in selling and support the team in sales to develop KPIs.
  • Develop the team’s ability to build lasting client relationships using available resources and tools.
  • Communicate company messages and information during briefings, training and one-to-one meetings, inspiring the team.
  • Guide new employees through onboarding and support their positive integration into the company.
  • Manage client flow to ensure appropriate service and that every client is attended to and acknowledged.
  • Promote a client-centric mindset and a high standard of client experience.
  • Develop the customer database by optimizing data capture and integrity.
  • Drive sales in the assigned category, analyze performance and develop actions to improve results.
  • Build the team’s technical product knowledge to improve KPIs, including sales, cross-selling and UPT.
  • Share product-category performance, client feedback and market insights with the regional team.
  • Lead the store in the absence of more senior management, including opening and closing, resolving difficult client situations and escalating or seeking support when necessary.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of policies, standards and procedures, ensuring they are communicated and implemented.
  • Maintain and manage inventory.
  • Perform additional duties and management responsibilities as required.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 115,000 per annum.
