LOEWE Leather Goods and Accessories Collection Merchandiser position in Madrid. Manage collection development, competitive analysis, and merchandising operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define requests and collection needs based on strategy, competitive analysis, market feedback, and sell-in/sell-out data
- Consolidate historical collection sizing as benchmarking reference for future developments
- Monitor and track collection development in close collaboration with design and development teams
- Prepare merchandising documentation including overviews, collection plans, line lists, price lists, and sample reviews
- Coordinate prototype launches and monitor development status throughout the product lifecycle
- Manage sample follow-ups including fittings, editing requirements, and collection reviews
- Monitor development costs, establish target prices, and work with teams to achieve margin objectives
- Update and maintain product editing and reference lists in timely fashion
- Alert stakeholders when timelines are at risk
- Organize and prepare for photo shoots, training sessions, and buying session documentation
- Verify product information accuracy in PLM systems and distribute line lists
- Provide data and support to Retail and Wholesale teams during sales campaigns
- Consolidate competitive overviews for each collection launch and maintain competitor pricing database
- Prepare fashion week recaps and communicate key competitor launches
- Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to ensure accurate product content and descriptions
- Review web descriptions and product highlights before collection publication
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fashion merchandising or product development
- High product sensitivity with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and presentation capabilities
- Proficiency in MS Office applications with advanced Excel competency
- Fluent English command
