LOEWE in Madrid seeks a Finance & Accounting Intern for a 6–12 month on-site internship supporting AP/AR and store reconciliations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support accounts payable operations: process invoices, assist with supplier correspondence and follow-up, and contribute to related financial spreadsheets and charts under supervision.
- Assist accounts receivable tasks within a paperless, scanned-document workflow; where appropriate, post simple invoices and help progress collections.
- Perform back-office support for retail stores, including income reporting and reconciliations of cash, credit-card takings and bank statements.
- Prepare and maintain financial documentation and contribute to ad hoc finance projects as a backup resource.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and, when authorized, with external contacts under supervision to resolve routine billing or payment queries.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a university programme enabling an internship agreement (convenio de beca) — degree in Business Administration (ADE), Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar.
- High proficiency in Spanish and English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in accuracy of work.
- Authorization to intern in Spain: EU students must hold a student NIE; non-EU candidates require an appropriate work permit.
- Availability for a 6–12 month, on-site internship with typical hours of 09:00–18:30 Monday–Thursday and 09:00–15:00 on Friday.
