LOEWE Distribution Planning Intern in Madrid — on-site internship supporting outbound forecasting, logistics coordination and distribution execution.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze historical outbound shipment data to identify volume patterns, seasonality and variability drivers.
- Develop and maintain a weekly Forecast Outbound Plan template by region, documenting assumptions and demand drivers.
- Coordinate weekly with Distribution Planning to consolidate the outbound forecast and communicate expected shipment volumes to regions.
- Align agreed forecasts with Logistics to validate warehouse processing capacity, staffing needs and transport coordination (including flight planning).
- Monitor operational exceptions (manual pushes, urgent reallocations, stock delays) and adjust plans accordingly.
- Track weekly actual outbound volumes versus forecast and perform deviation analysis to propose mitigation actions (prioritisation, acceleration, redistribution).
- Contribute to continuous improvement of forecasting methodologies and structured forecasting processes in a supply chain environment.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in university studies and able to sign an internship agreement (convenio de beca) with the home institution.
- EU students must hold a student NIE; non-EU candidates require a valid work permit.
- Availability for a 6–12 month internship, onsite in Madrid, typically 9:00–18:30 Monday–Thursday and 9:00–15:00 on Fridays.
- Strong analytical aptitude with a demonstrated interest in supply chain, logistics or distribution planning.

Experience
Beginner — suitable for students or recent graduates. Prior coursework, internships or academic projects in supply chain, logistics, operations management or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Currently enrolled in university studies (supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, business, economics, mathematics or related discipline) with eligibility to sign an internship agreement (convenio de beca).
