Loewe Deputy Store Director
LOEWE seeks a Deputy Store Director in Tokyo to support store leadership, drive sales and develop teams in luxury retail.

Role & Responsibilities
- Act as deputy to the Store Manager/Director, assuming full responsibility for store and team in their absence.
- Coach, develop and appraise the retail team through regular feedback, individual development plans and succession planning.
- Recruit talent and secure effective onboarding to ensure rapid integration and retention of new hires.
- Lead by example on the sales floor: model the selling ceremony, manage client flow and ensure every client receives an attentive, personalised service.
- Drive business performance by identifying store priorities and category opportunities; support implementation of strategic actions to maximise sales.
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through proactive clienteling and optimisation of data capture and CRM integrity.
- Monitor store KPIs, audits and performance metrics; analyse results and propose corrective actions to the Store Manager/Director.
- Ensure flawless execution of operational standards including inventory accuracy, health & safety compliance, grooming guidelines and front/back of house coordination.
- Champion adoption and correct use of retail tools and assets that enhance front- and back-of-house client and user experiences.
- Support visual and facilities standards to maintain a premium in-store environment.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of leadership within luxury retail or a comparable high-end environment, with a minimum of five years' relevant experience.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen with experience driving sales and achieving KPIs at store level.
- Strong people management skills: coaching, talent identification, recruitment and succession planning.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to inspire diverse teams.
- Client-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional, personalised service.
- Agile, creative problem-solving and the ability to translate strategic priorities into operational actions.
- Genuine interest in fashion, art and culture and deep product knowledge of leather goods and accessories.
Skills
Experience
Minimum five years' experience in retail management within luxury goods or premium fashion, including responsibility for people management, store operations and commercial performance.
