LOEWE Department Manager, Woodbury Commons, New York – Lead a retail team, manage operations, and drive luxury fashion sales. $70K–$80K annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the team to drive and deliver business goals, creating a positive and collaborative work environment that fosters excellence and cooperation
- Define individual and team goals and targets, regularly reviewing, managing, and coaching performance against expectations
- Provide regular qualitative feedback to team members, coaching in the moment to maximize impact and development
- Identify, recruit, and develop talent in collaboration with Store Management, securing succession plans to ensure business continuity
- Lead from the front through role modelling best sales practices and supporting the team in their development to achieve KPIs
- Support and develop the team in building lasting client relationships by leveraging all available resources and tools
- Communicate company messages and strategic information with passion during briefings, training sessions, and one-to-one meetings
- Provide comprehensive support and guidance to new team members to ensure successful onboarding and positive integration
- Manage customer flow to ensure each client receives appropriate service levels and personalized attention
- Cultivate a client-centric mindset across the department to consistently exceed service expectations
- Develop the customer database through optimizing data capture rate and integrity
- Drive sales performance for assigned product categories through analysis and targeted improvement actions
- Build the team's technical product knowledge to enhance performance in sales, cross-selling, and units per transaction
- Share feedback with regional teams on category performance, customer insights, and market trends
- Lead the store in the absence of senior management, including opening and closing procedures
- Maintain thorough understanding of policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring consistent communication and implementation
- Manage inventory responsibilities and maintain proper stock control protocols
- Execute additional duties and management responsibilities as required by Store Leadership
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of proven leadership experience in retail or luxury goods environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams to achieve commercial success
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to valuing and amplifying diversity
- Strong commercial acumen and proven track record in driving sales performance
- Ability to develop agile, creative, and commercially sound solutions to business challenges
