Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the team to drive and deliver business goals, creating a positive and collaborative work environment that fosters excellence and cooperation
- Define individual and team goals and targets, regularly reviewing performance and providing coaching aligned with expectations
- Provide qualitative feedback to the team and coach in the moment to maximize impact on performance
- Identify, recruit, and develop talent in collaboration with the Store Manager, securing succession plans to enable career progression
- Lead from the front by role-modelling sales techniques and supporting team members in achieving their key performance indicators
- Support and develop the team in building lasting client relationships by leveraging all available resources and tools
- Communicate company messages and information with passion during morning briefings, training sessions, and one-to-one meetings
- Provide support and guidance to new joiners to ensure their complete onboarding and positive integration into the organisation
- Manage customer flow to ensure appropriate service levels and that no client is left unattended
- Cultivate a client-centric mindset and ensure the highest level of client experience
- Develop and optimise the customer database through improved data capture and integrity
- Drive sales performance for assigned product categories by analysing results and implementing improvement actions
- Grow the team's technical product knowledge to increase key performance indicators including sales, cross-selling, and units per transaction
- Share feedback with the regional team on category performance, customer insights, and market trends
- Lead the store in the absence of senior management, including opening, closing, and resolving difficult client situations
- Maintain thorough understanding of policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring communication and implementation
- Maintain inventory and oversee inventory management responsibilities
- Execute additional operational and management duties as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading diverse teams in a luxury retail or similar environment
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive sales and performance metrics
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to valuing and amplifying diversity
