Department Manager position at LOEWE Harrods London. Lead WRTW team, drive sales targets, develop client relationships.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the team to drive business goals, creating a positive work environment that fosters cooperation and excellence
  • Define individual and team goals and targets, regularly reviewing and coaching performance against expectations
  • Provide regular, qualitative feedback to the team with in-the-moment coaching for maximum impact
  • Identify, recruit, and develop talent in collaboration with the Store Manager, securing succession plans
  • Lead from the front by modeling sales excellence and supporting the team in developing their KPIs
  • Develop the team in building lasting client relationships, leveraging all available resources and tools
  • Communicate with passion and inspire the team on company messages during morning briefings and training
  • Support new joiners through their onboarding to ensure positive integration into the company
  • Manage customer flow to ensure appropriate service levels and ensure no client is left unattended
  • Cultivate a client-centric mindset to deliver the highest level of client experience
  • Develop the customer database by optimizing data capture rate and integrity
  • Drive sales for assigned categories, analyzing performance and creating improvement actions
  • Grow the team's technical product knowledge to increase KPI performance
  • Share feedback with regional teams on category performance, customer insights, and market trends
  • Lead the store in the absence of senior management, including opening, closing, and resolving difficult situations
  • Maintain thorough understanding of policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring proper communication and implementation
  • Maintain inventory and oversee inventory management responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar leadership environment managing diverse teams
  • Proven commercial acumen with demonstrated results in retail or luxury environments
  • Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Client-centric mindset with a passion to exceed expectations
  • Deep interest in fashion, art, and culture
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous
