Department Manager position at LOEWE's flagship London boutique. Lead retail team, drive sales, and manage store operations on New Bond Street.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the team to drive and deliver business goals, creating a positive work environment that fosters cooperation and excellence
- Define individual and team goals and targets, regularly reviewing, managing, and coaching performance against expectations
- Provide regular and qualitative feedback to the team, coaching in the moment to achieve maximum impact
- Identify, recruit, and develop talent in collaboration with store management, securing succession plans to ensure continuity
- Lead from the front by role modeling sales techniques and supporting the team in developing key performance indicators
- Support and develop the team in building long-lasting client relationships, leveraging all available resources and tools
- Communicate company messages and information with passion during morning briefings, training, and one-to-one meetings
- Provide support and guidance to new joiners to ensure a positive onboarding and integration experience
- Manage customer flow to ensure each client receives the appropriate level of service and attention
- Cultivate a client-centric mindset to maintain the highest standard of customer experience
- Develop the customer database through optimizing data capture rate and integrity
- Drive sales for assigned product categories, analyzing performance and creating action plans to improve and grow revenue
- Grow the team's technical knowledge of product categories to increase key performance indicators including sales, cross-selling, and units per transaction
- Share feedback with the regional team on category performance, customer insights, and market trends
- Lead the store in the absence of senior management, handling store opening and closing procedures
- Resolve difficult client situations and escalate or seek support where necessary
- Maintain thorough understanding of policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring they are communicated and implemented across the department
- Maintain inventory control and be responsible for inventory management
- Execute additional duties and management responsibilities as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading diverse teams in a luxury retail or similar high-performing environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to amplify and value diversity
- Strong demonstrable commercial acumen and sales track record
- Ability to be agile, creative, and commercially focused in solution development
- Passion and expertise in the managed product category
- Client-centric mindset with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations
- Proven team player with the ability to lead and influence whilst working alongside the team

Minimum 3 years of proven experience leading teams in a luxury retail, high-performance retail environment, or similar customer-facing leadership role.
