LOEWE is hiring a Department Manager in London (Harrods) to lead a client-focused sales team and drive departmental performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of client advisors to meet individual, departmental and store sales targets; define and review individual and team KPIs.
  • Role-model selling behaviour on the sales floor, provide in-the-moment coaching and deliver regular, qualitative performance feedback.
  • Own the client experience for the department: manage customer flow, ensure personalised service and drive data capture to expand and maintain the client database.
  • Drive commercial performance for an assigned product category through analysis of results, targeted actions and enhancement of the team’s technical product knowledge.
  • Recruit, onboard and develop talent in partnership with the Store Manager; secure succession plans and support career progression.
  • Operate the store in the absence of senior management, including opening/closing responsibilities, resolving escalated client situations and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory for the department and communicate category performance and market insight to the regional team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years’ experience in luxury retail with proven leadership of frontline sales teams.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets and improving KPIs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to coach and develop diverse talent.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for fashion, particularly luxury leather goods; commercial and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.

Experience
