LOEWE seeks Department Manager, Leather Goods in New York. Lead retail team, drive sales, mentor advisors. $100K–$115K, full-time, on-site.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the team to drive and deliver business goals, fostering a positive work environment that prioritizes cooperation and excellence
- Define individual and team goals and targets, regularly reviewing performance against expectations and providing qualitative, in-the-moment coaching
- Recruit, identify, and develop talent in collaboration with store leadership, establishing succession plans and career trajectories
- Lead by example in sales execution and client engagement, role-modeling best practices and supporting advisors in achieving KPI targets
- Cultivate long-lasting client relationships by leveraging available resources and tools, managing customer flow to ensure optimal service delivery
- Communicate company initiatives with passion during morning briefings, training sessions, and one-to-one meetings to inspire team alignment
- Onboard new team members and ensure their integration into the organization is seamless and positive
- Analyze category performance, identify improvement opportunities, and develop action plans to drive sales growth and cross-selling
- Enhance team technical product knowledge across the leather goods category to improve sales, upselling, and unit per transaction metrics
- Share market insights, performance data, and customer feedback with regional teams to inform strategic decision-making
- Lead store operations in the absence of senior management, including opening and closing procedures, policy enforcement, and escalation of complex client matters
- Maintain thorough inventory management and accountability for stock standards and procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in retail or luxury fashion environments
- Proven track record of leading diverse teams to achieve commercial targets and personal development
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to analyze performance metrics and drive profitable growth
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that value and amplify diversity and inclusion
- Deep passion for fashion, art, and culture; intellectual curiosity about the luxury leather goods market
