LOEWE in Madrid seeks a Consolidation & Reporting Controller (temporary maternity cover) — on-site finance role supporting group consolidation and reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile group-level financial reporting, ensuring alignment and consistency across regions and legal entities.
- Contribute to the monthly close process, including sales, opex, margin reporting, system integrity checks and delivery of management packs.
- Analyze variances against forecast and provide actionable insights to support management decision-making.
- Coordinate with global controlling teams to consolidate P&L analyses and respond to ad-hoc information requests.
- Produce and maintain weekly sales and brand-desirables reports and manage last-minute reporting requests.
- Support the Consolidation team during monthly presentation reviews (e.g., HR payroll visibility) and ensure slide accuracy.
- Participate in budgeting and landing exercises together with global controllers and help refine forecasts.
- Help establish and maintain a single source of truth within the consolidation team to secure reliable and timely reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years (up to 5 years preferred) in controlling, consolidation, auditing or related finance roles; experience in luxury retail is an advantage.
- Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Strong numerical accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across countries and functions.
- Effective communicator with strong teamwork skills and the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Curiosity, adaptability and capacity to perform in a fast-paced international environment.
Skills
Experience
3–5 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, consolidation, auditing or similar roles; prior exposure to luxury or retail business models is a plus.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline; a master’s degree or professional accounting qualification is advantageous.
