LOEWE in Tokyo seeks an Assistant Manager, Client Events to plan VIP activations and coordinate store events. Hybrid role in Tokyo.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and execute client events and activations focused on very important client (VIC) retention and acquisition.
- Assist the Event Manager with end‑to‑end event operations including venue sourcing, catering and entertainment logistics, guest transportation and invitation handling.
- Manage CRM-related event tasks such as sample management, guest lists and data coordination with HQ CRM/Client Experience teams.
- Prepare presentations and operational guidelines for HQ and store teams to standardise event execution and reporting.
- Liaise with Stores, Retail, MD/VM, Marketing and external vendors to ensure seamless event delivery and consistent brand representation.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends related to client events; analyse results against KPIs and recommend enhancements to elevate event quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in client events, retail activations or luxury clienteling.
- Proven experience leading cross‑functional projects and managing external vendors.
- Business‑level English proficiency (spoken and written); ability to communicate effectively in Japanese is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable problem‑solving skills, organisational agility and the ability to operate under ambiguity.
- Experience within a luxury fashion maison and history of leading clienteling or VIP event programmes is a strong advantage.
