A part-time makeup artist role at Le Labo in Edinburgh Airport, offering 18 hours per week. The successful candidate will deliver personalized, inspirational in-store experiences through expert application techniques and customer consultation, whilst supporting visual merchandising excellence and contributing to in-store events within a high-performing retail team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert makeup application and consultation services to customers in a welcoming, personalized manner
- Educate customers on product benefits, application techniques, and beauty trends
- Maintain elevated visual merchandising standards to differentiate the brand within the retail environment
- Support in-store events and special promotions to drive sales and brand engagement
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently
- Work collaboratively within a high-performing retail team to achieve store performance targets
- Uphold brand standards and luxury retail protocols throughout all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Makeup artistry certification or professional retail makeup experience (preferred, but amateur-level experience considered if demonstrating high creative and technical expertise)
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software
- Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Right to live and work in the United Kingdom (proof required)
