Le Labo seeks an ambitious and experienced Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in delivering exceptional operational standards and customer service. The successful candidate will lead the sales team through skilled coaching and mentoring, model exemplary service behaviors, and ensure all cash-handling procedures and store opening/closing protocols are executed with precision. This role represents a stepping stone into supervisory leadership within the prestige beauty sector.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor sales team members, modeling exemplary service behaviors and coaching them to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Execute start-of-day and end-of-day cash reconciliation procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
- Open and close the store on a rotational basis, ensuring all security and procedural requirements are met
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring smooth, efficient store operations
- Deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service in line with brand standards
- Maintain retail environment standards and support visual merchandising efforts
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience with coaching and mentoring skills
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale (POS) software
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
- Proof of right to live and work in Canada
Skills
Experience
Proven retail background with preferably 2–3 years of experience in cosmetics or prestige beauty. Previous supervisory experience, coaching, or mentoring responsibilities are desirable. Demonstrated expertise in cash-handling procedures and store opening/closing protocols.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; no formal tertiary qualification required.
