Le Labo, a prestige fragrance and beauty brand under The Estée Lauder Companies, seeks a dynamic and inspirational Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in Malibu. The role combines supervisory responsibilities with hands-on retail operations, requiring an ambitious self-starter with proven retail experience and coaching capabilities to lead the sales team in delivering exceptional customer service while managing essential cash handling and store opening/closing procedures.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring smooth and efficient store operations
- Lead by example and model desired behaviors for the sales team
- Coach and mentor sales associates to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Execute start and end of day cash reconciliation with accuracy and attention to detail
- Open and close the store on a rotational basis according to scheduling requirements
- Achieve and exceed sales and customer service targets through team performance
- Maintain retail operations standards and compliance with company policies
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Demonstrated coaching and mentoring capabilities
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Strong cash handling and reconciliation skills
- Right to live and work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Previous retail experience is required, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty. Prior supervisory or lead experience involving coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets is desirable. Retail operations experience, including cash reconciliation and opening/closing procedures, is highly valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or professional certifications in retail management are advantageous but not required.
