The Beauty Advisor will leverage creative and technical makeup expertise to deliver personalized, educational, and inspirational in-store beauty experiences at Le Labo Cardiff. This role combines makeup artistry with retail excellence, including event execution, point-of-sale operations, and visual merchandising leadership to drive brand differentiation and customer engagement. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong customer service instincts, flexibility with retail schedules, and passion for prestige beauty.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert in-store makeup artistry services, combining creative and technical expertise to deliver personalized beauty consultations
- Create welcoming, inspirational experiences that educate customers on product benefits and applications
- Execute in-store events and promotional activities as part of a collaborative team to drive sales and brand engagement
- Maintain and elevate visual merchandising standards throughout the store to ensure competitive differentiation
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems with proficiency and accuracy
- Demonstrate excellence in customer service by delivering authentic, inspirational, and personalized interactions
Qualifications
- Makeup artistry certification and/or previous retail makeup experience preferred, though amateur-level experience with demonstrated creative and technical expertise is welcome
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom

Experience
Previous retail makeup experience or equivalent amateur-level expertise in makeup artistry is desirable; retail customer service experience is a plus.
Education
Makeup artistry certification or equivalent training is preferred but not required.
