Le Labo seeks Assistant Store Manager in Malibu, CA to lead store operations and develop sales team in prestige fragrance retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and developing Sales Associates to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Oversee retail operations including inventory management, merchandising, and cash reconciliation
- Deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service in line with Le Labo brand standards
- Manage retail floor operations during assigned shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and special events
- Monitor and report on team performance metrics and identify coaching opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures across all store operations
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within prestige cosmetics or fragrance
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience with a demonstrated track record of coaching and mentoring
- Retail operations expertise including inventory management and cash reconciliation
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Right to live and work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Proven supervisory and retail operations experience gained in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty sectors. Demonstrated success in coaching others to achieve sales and customer service targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail management certification or coursework preferred.
