Le Bon Marché is hiring a Tea and Coffee Sales Associate for La Grande Épicerie de Paris, where the role combines premium customer service, product advice and tasting with stock replenishment and department upkeep. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers at the tea and coffee counter and advise them, while maintaining stock levels and product quality to grow department sales and build customer loyalty.
  • Help open the department and prepare products, monitor use-by dates and markdowns, ensure products are properly labelled, organize deliveries, and replenish stock daily.
  • Welcome an upscale clientele and recommend products based on their needs.
  • Present products, offer tastings, and develop complementary sales.
  • Bring the department to life and engage customers.
  • Help close the department and contribute to its daily operations, including cleaning, compliance with hygiene rules, and inventory counts.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales and customer service is essential.
  • Expertise in tea and/or coffee is preferred.
  • Enthusiasm and a desire to satisfy customers seeking a high-quality shopping experience and service.
  • Demonstrated dynamism, responsiveness, and curiosity.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
