The Store Operations Coordinator reports to the Store Processes Manager and supports La Samaritaine’s operational transformation, including store modernisation projects. This full-time permanent role supports tool improvement, employee training and on-the-ground governance in coordination with store teams and support departments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Actively participate in tool updates, particularly by managing, documenting and concluding tests.
- Centralize and escalate incidents for resolution in collaboration with support teams, including IT, Internal Control and Accounting.
- Ensure tools operate correctly and identify opportunities for continuous improvement across POS, tax-free shopping and e-receipt tools.
- Identify and report gaps between defined processes and operational practices, proposing improvements or retraining employees.
- Onboard new employees by introducing the technical tools available, manager training resources and required training.
- Assess and target training needs.
- Ensure employees achieve an appropriate level of proficiency through training and on-the-spot coaching.
- Deploy and maintain training materials.
- Ensure tools operate correctly.
- Support and animate the user community.
- Ensure information is relayed to the relevant stakeholders.
- Act as a key contributor to La Samaritaine’s operational modernisation projects and as a support link between store teams and the wider organisation.
- Work with all store sales teams and other departments.
Qualifications
- A first experience in retail is preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills within Microsoft Office.
- Strong training skills, including confident public speaking and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in working on IT-related topics.
- Fluent English is required for daily interactions with international teams.
- Analytical and synthesis skills.
- Commercial and IT awareness.
