Role & Responsibilities
- Process incoming wine pallets and rolls, verifying against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Encode bottles and validate barcodes using point-of-sale systems or handheld devices (PDA)
- Conduct daily stock replenishment across wine shelves and designated displays
- Organize and maintain reserve storage areas with attention to product integrity
- Coordinate merchandise placement and dispatch from receiving areas
- Manage departmental packaging supplies ordering
- Generate and execute restocking lists based on inventory levels
- Handle inventory counts and stock control verification procedures
Qualifications
- First customer-facing or retail experience preferred
- Strong understanding of customer service principles in a luxury environment
- Ability to communicate product knowledge and passion for fine wines and spirits
