Role & Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming rolls and pallets of wine inventory
- Encode bottles and verify barcodes using point-of-sale systems or PDA devices
- Restock bottles to shelves following encoding
- Sort and store surplus inventory in the reserve
- Order packaging and materials for the department
- Handle merchandise arrivals including coding, barcode verification, and cross-reference purchase orders and delivery notes
- Distribute and dispatch incoming shipments to appropriate locations
- Organize and maintain reserve storage
- Conduct daily restocking of the wine section and satellite wine displays
- Execute restocking lists and replenish displays as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reserve area

- First experience in customer-facing retail or warehouse environments
- Excellent customer service orientation and commercial acumen
- Active listening skills and ability to communicate product knowledge
