Bon Marché seeks Shelf Stocking Associate for La Grande Épicerie de Paris, a luxury gourmet grocer in Paris.
Role & Responsibilities
- Stock and replenish assigned product families, ensuring optimal visual presentation and shelf availability
- Monitor expiration dates and manage markdown procedures in accordance with inventory protocols
- Participate in inventory counts and associated preparation activities
- Manage supplier disputes and escalate issues to management as appropriate
- Verify pricing signage, labels, and promotional displays, implementing corrections as needed
- Assist with product placement changes and promotional installations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned departments, equipment, and storage areas
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards, as well as selective waste management and packaging protocols
- Process incoming deliveries and organize stock in back-of-house areas
- Provide product information, guidance, and customer service to clientele
- Handle customer objections professionally or escalate disputes to management when necessary
- Prepare product orders for delivery or marketing departments as requested
- Stay informed of departmental and store operations to maintain alignment with company initiatives
