La Grande Epicerie de Paris seeks Senior Sales Associate for Pastry Department – full-time CDI in Paris.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and delegate work assignments to team members, serving as manager liaison and communicating departmental directives
  • Welcome and train new team members, ensuring seamless onboarding into departmental procedures
  • Monitor and enforce hygiene and safety protocols, escalating concerns to management
  • Facilitate information flow between management and the team regarding departmental and store operations
  • Greet clients, assess needs, propose and present products with expertise, advise on selections, process transactions, and facilitate checkout experiences
  • Execute supplementary sales and cross-selling opportunities
  • Prepare products for sale, including weighing, wrapping, and presentation
  • Handle cash transactions and point-of-sale operations as assigned
  • Build and maintain client loyalty through attentive, personalized service
  • Implement quality assurance action plans based on customer feedback and audits
  • Address client concerns and escalate disputes to management when necessary
  • Co-facilitate informational meetings and departmental updates alongside management
  • Oversee department opening and closing procedures

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department, equipment, and back-of-house areas
