Bon Marché seeks Scenography Assistant (Alternance) in Paris—coordinate installations, manage logistics, and drive sustainability initiatives in luxury retail environments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Scenography in organizing logistics for retail installations and coordinating internal and external technical providers
- Develop and communicate installation/removal schedules to all stakeholders and monitor site execution in collaboration with project leads
- Coordinate access requests for external contractors with the security department and maintain updated safety protocols (prevention plans) for all on-site interventions
- Participate in inventory management of furnishings and materials stored in off-site warehouses in collaboration with general services teams
- Support implementation of environmentally conscious strategies for scenographic projects, identifying and proposing eco-design solutions with project leads
- Assist in managing second-life solutions for set pieces through donation, resale, or partnership networks, and track environmental data collection and reporting
Qualifications
- Strong interest in project management, event planning, coordination, and logistics
- Familiarity with scenographic techniques including installation and spatial arrangement
- Knowledge of safety standards and ERP (Établissement Recevant du Public) regulations preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- SketchUp proficiency is a plus
- Commitment to sustainable design and circular economy principles
Skills
Experience
Entry-level; candidates with no prior professional experience are welcome to apply. Understanding of event logistics, retail environments, or design project coordination is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education minimum; ongoing or recent studies in event management, logistics, scenography, interior design, or a related discipline are preferred.
