La Samaritaine (LVMH) seeks experienced Scenographer for contract role in Paris to design event spaces and window displays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with the Artistic Direction team to develop innovative concepts
- Propose scenographic concepts, furniture selections, and design elements; create sketches, mock-ups, 3D renderings, and presentation dossiers
- Develop spatial plans and design elements while contributing to material and supplier selections
- Oversee quotation development and manage purchase orders for scenographic materials and services
- Monitor and ensure adherence to allocated event budgets
- Coordinate installation scheduling and supervise the placement of scenographic elements within the store and window displays in liaison with directional teams
- Research and evaluate new materials, service providers, and suppliers in the scenography sector with particular attention to environmental considerations
- Serve as an innovation advocate, proposing new concepts and strategies to enhance the brand image of La Samaritaine
Qualifications
- Formal training in Scenography or Interior Architecture
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and rendering software (Podium and/or Vray)
- Expertise in AutoCAD for spatial planning
- Strong artistic sensibility and demonstrated design acumen
- Ability to balance creative vision with commercial and product-oriented thinking
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a comparable scenography, exhibition design, or interior architecture role, demonstrating proficiency in concept development, technical documentation, and project execution.
Education
Formal qualification in Scenography, Interior Architecture, or related creative disciplines.
Workplace
