Sales Associate, Charcuterie at La Grande Epicerie de Paris (Bon Marché/LVMH), Paris. Fixed-term, 35 hours per week.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome clientele with warmth and enthusiasm whilst consulting on their requirements and presenting product selections
  • Conduct product tastings and recommend complementary purchases to enhance sales
  • Oversee opening procedures for the department, including product placement whilst adhering to expiry date protocols, signage, storage organization, and daily replenishment
  • Animate and enhance the department's presentation and ambiance to reflect its luxury positioning
  • Manage closing duties and contribute to daily departmental operations including hygiene compliance, cleaning, and inventory procedures

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience in charcuterie, delicatessen, or gourmet food retail
  • Demonstrated passion for fine cheeses, charcuterie, and gastronomy
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with ability to identify and fulfill client needs

Experience
