Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised, high‑touch client advisory and guide customers in the selection and purchase of gift items and objet d’art.
  • Handle and present merchandise of all values with the utmost care and respect, safeguarding product integrity and brand image.
  • Execute client transactions professionally and efficiently while adhering to store procedures and the 'ceremony of sale' standards.
  • Maintain impeccable selling areas in accordance with the store's visual merchandising and brand guidelines.
  • Monitor and replenish stock levels for the department and support stock preparation and inventory operations.
  • Provide warm, attentive service; address client requests and complaints courteously and escalate to the service manager when necessary.
  • Collaborate proactively with colleagues to meet collective sales and service objectives and to minimise client waiting times.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years' proven experience in a concept store or upscale retail environment, preferably with gift, lifestyle or curated-object assortments.
  • Fluent in French and English; additional languages such as Mandarin, Russian, Arabic, Spanish or Portuguese are strongly desirable.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver personalised, culturally attuned service to an international clientele.
  • High standards of professional presentation, discretion when handling high‑value items, and a meticulous approach to merchandising and stock control.
  • Ability to work full time on a fixed‑term contract and to adapt to a fast‑paced, team-oriented retail environment.
