Le Bon Marché is recruiting a Restaurant Server Assistant for Le Petit Bistrot at La Grande Épicerie de Paris, a continuous-service restaurant averaging 120 covers, with daytime hours and no split shifts. The role is a permanent, full-time 35-hour-per-week position, available immediately, supporting guest service, dining-room operations, and restaurant revenue.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver dishes from the kitchen to the designated tables.
- Maintain service stations, handle dishwashing, and keep the service area clean.
- Set up the dining room, serve guests, clear and reset tables during and after service.
- Assist with beverage preparation.
- Welcome guests and provide information.
- Contribute to the restaurant’s daily operations, including cleaning, hygiene compliance, inventory, and organizing deliveries.
- Welcome and inform customers, provide service, and support the restaurant’s revenue growth.
Qualifications
- First experience in food service and an interest in gastronomy.
- Excellent customer-service skills, a collaborative approach, and commercial acumen.
