La Grande Epicerie de Paris seeks Personalized Sales Advisor in Paris for full-time CDI position with luxury gourmet retail expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome, inform, orient, and accompany customers throughout their store experience
- Develop product and service sales, execute complementary upsells, and drive customer loyalty through personalized engagement and portfolio management
- Guide customers through their purchasing journey, provide detailed information about store sections, and present product selection with storytelling and stock availability awareness
- Understand customer preferences and needs; proactively propose product selections, gift ideas, and expert advisory guidance
- Facilitate connections with department staff and customer service teams by clearly communicating customer intent and requirements
- Inform customers about the loyalty program, promote membership benefits, and open new loyalty accounts
- Gather, escalate, and act upon customer feedback, objections, and requests; follow up on customer inquiries
- Maintain and update CRM tools in compliance with GDPR regulations
- Participate in implementing action plans following quality audits
- Promote La Grande Epicerie de Paris's history, values, expertise, and philosophy to customers
- Present store organization and departments; conduct guided store tours for customers
- Highlight current commercial programming and events
- Participate in store events, activities, and customer tastings
- Maintain workplace health and safety standards
- Stay informed about store operations, commercial news, new brands, product launches, and emerging gastronomic trends
- Participate in inventory activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional sales or customer service experience, preferably in luxury or gastronomic retail
- Demonstrated passion for gastronomy with strong food product knowledge and culinary expertise
- Proven sales track record with ability to develop customer loyalty and manage client portfolios
- Fluent English; additional language proficiency highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with natural commercial acumen
- Customer-focused service orientation with proactive, solution-oriented mindset
