Groupe Bon Marché seeks a Pastry Sales Associate in Paris for full-time CDI role at La Grande Epicerie de Paris.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and assess high-end clientele, listening attentively to their needs and preferences
- Present pastry and gourmet products, facilitate tastings, and develop complementary sales
- Maintain inventory standards by monitoring expiration dates, organizing stock, labeling products, and restocking daily
- Participate in section opening procedures and ensure proper product placement and display
- Animate and enliven the pastry section through product knowledge and engaging customer interaction
- Contribute to section closing procedures, including cleaning, hygiene compliance, and inventory management
Qualifications
- First experience in retail sales or customer-facing roles preferred
- Demonstrated passion for gourmet food and culinary excellence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate in English
- Enthusiasm for high-touch customer service
