La Grande Épicerie de Paris is seeking a full-time Material Handler (35 hours per week) on a fixed-term contract, from immediate start through January 15, 2027. Reporting to the Receiving Manager, the role handles merchandise reception, product storage and stockroom organization.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries.
- Welcome and assist carriers and suppliers.
- Inspect merchandise for quantity and quality.
- Check and sign delivery notes and consignment notes.
- Sort and distribute incoming deliveries.
- Manage merchandise returns.
- Store deliveries in designated stockrooms, on pallets and in roll containers.
Qualifications
- Dynamic and responsive, with an initial background in materials handling or logistics.
- Rigorous, organized and methodical.
- Able to take initiative and work as part of a team.
Experience
Entry-level; initial experience in materials handling or logistics.
