Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain commercial relationships with travel trade partners (tour leaders, OTAs, MICE organisers) in Mainland China and Hong Kong to increase store penetration and individual shopper conversion.
- Represent La Samaritaine in B2B meetings and trade events across France and Asia; prospect new tourism partners and identify priority trade shows and roadshows.
- Coordinate and host fam tours and incoming MICE groups from Mainland China and Hong Kong, ensuring flawless operational delivery with internal store teams and the TIM/CMO equivalents.
- Manage partner onboarding and compliance checks prior to payments, including supplier creation in Power Apps and verification of contracts and SAP numbers with the verification/compliance teams (Paris/Wicresoft/LFG).
- Drive pre-visit engagement and in-visit sales stimulation via B2B social channels (WeChat/WhatsApp groups of tour leaders), and ensure post-visit follow-up and service recovery.
- Lead the Ctrip partnership project to target the individual Chinese shopper segment and coordinate execution with relevant stakeholders.
- Analyse weekly and monthly revenue, produce highlight reports and annual reporting, and translate data into market-specific strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Handle disputes with partners and their clients as required and capture partner feedback to propose operational or commercial improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in tourism, travel trade development, B2B sales or commercial development—preferably with exposure to Chinese and Hong Kong travel markets.
- Fluent in French, English and Chinese (spoken and written). Additional Asian language is a plus.
- Proven experience coordinating fam tours, MICE groups or similar incoming travel operations.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, high cultural sensitivity and proven ability to build durable B2B relationships.
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays and to be present on the shop floor for prolonged standing when required.
