La Grande Epicerie de Paris — Management Controller (CDI) in Paris, Ile‑de‑France. Full P&L, budgeting, reporting and systems coordination role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage full P&L responsibilities across monthly closes, annual budget, rolling forecasts and strategic planning for assigned scopes.
- Oversee financial performance for warehouse operations (épicerie, DPH, brasserie, cave, économat, corporate gifts): ensure coherence of merchandise flows and assess associated financial impacts.
- Act as a control and escalation point to secure warehouse margins, coordinating actions between Supply Chain, Accounts Payable, Buying and other operational teams.
- Support commercial teams (notably cave/wine) across two stores by analysing monthly performance (revenue and margin by product family/sub‑family), profitability per linear metre, markdowns and personnel costs.
- Own monitoring of operating expense budgets: technical budgets for two stores, Supply Chain and Quality, and CAPEX follow‑up for La Grande Epicerie.
- Coordinate with IT/DSI to improve reporting and systems (GOLD master data, Power BI, Tagetik), translate business requirements and ensure delivery of analytical tools.
- Provide budgetary guidance and act as the reference person for budget owners to help pilot their financial performance.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in finance, accounting or business administration (or equivalent university qualification).
- Minimum three years’ experience in management control, performance management or financial analysis, preferably within retail or a comparable operational environment.
- Fluent command of Excel and proven use of SAP in a finance context; familiarity with GOLD, Eliot, Power BI and Tagetik is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, rigour and attention to financial detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and pedagogical skills with the ability to challenge senior operational stakeholders constructively.
- Autonomous, organised, able to prioritise, anticipate deadlines and propose pragmatic optimisations.

At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in management control or performance steering, ideally within retail or a similarly operational, inventory‑driven environment.
Education
