Role & Responsibilities

  • Define, analyze, and implement security and loss prevention procedures, systems, and signage in compliance with applicable legislation and organizational requirements
  • Execute internal and external theft prevention measures, conduct investigations as needed, and document all incidents
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue with sales teams regarding shrinkage concerns and broader security matters
  • Communicate with key stakeholders—including store management, law enforcement, and external partners—to ensure optimal security standards
  • Collaborate with various store departments to plan and execute security protocols for all events
  • Conduct security and loss prevention training and awareness sessions for store personnel
  • Oversee operational management of the external security contractor, including hours tracking, presence verification, and uniform compliance
  • Monitor surveillance camera feeds, archive footage as necessary, and transmit evidence to appropriate authorities
  • Support the implementation of new concessions within the store
  • Issue employee access badges and manage clearance procedures for external contractors

Qualifications

  • CERIC certification (Certificat d'Études pour les Responsables d'Interventions Commerciales) or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in an internal security or loss prevention department
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solution-oriented mindset with proven problem-solving capability
  • Hands-on, field-focused approach with demonstrated proactivity
  • Proficiency in detailed report writing while maintaining strict confidentiality protocols
