Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operations of the fruits & vegetables stand, allocate tasks and act as the manager's relay on the floor.
- Welcome clients, assess needs, provide tailored advice and service, execute sales and drive complementary purchases to grow revenue.
- Ensure product presentation and merchandising: replenishment, shelf setup, pricing, labelling and seasonal re-implantations.
- Manage stock activities: monitor best-before dates (DLC/DLUO), assist with ordering, participate in inventory and loss-prevention follow-up.
- Train and onboard new colleagues, communicate team briefings and participate in rayon meetings and quality-action plans.
- Enforce hygiene and safety standards, maintain cleanliness of the stand and equipment, and escalate non-compliance to the N+1.
- Support and animate client tastings and promotional events, and participate in in-store animations to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma in commerce/retail or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commercial mindset and persuasive selling skills.
- Good knowledge of fresh produce and food product handling; familiarity with DLC/DLUO management.
- Organisational rigour, dynamism, reactivity and the ability to prioritise.
- Leadership potential with the ability to coordinate a small team and contribute to staff development.
- English language ability is an asset.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level (débutant). Previous experience in retail or fresh-produce environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Commercial or retail vocational qualification (BEP/CAP, BTS commerce or equivalent) or equivalent professional experience.
