Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily activities of the produce counter, distribute tasks and act as the manager’s on-floor delegate.
- Welcome clients, identify needs, advise on products, execute transactions and follow up to build loyalty.
- Drive sales through suggestive selling, merchandising and by participating in commercial actions and in-store events.
- Ensure stock availability: receive deliveries, replenish displays, monitor DLC/DLUO and participate in ordering and stock-taking.
- Maintain presentation standards: implement planograms, control pricing/badging and set up promotional displays and tastings.
- Ensure strict application of hygiene and safety rules, maintain cleanliness of the counter, equipment and reserves, and escalate non-compliance to the N+1.
Qualifications
- Commercial diploma or equivalent professional experience in retail or food service.
- Good knowledge of fresh produce and related customer expectations.
- Proven client-facing skills with a commercial mindset and ability to upsell.
- Organized, proactive and able to manage priorities under pressure.
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership potential; ability to onboard and train new colleagues.
- Basic numeracy and experience with cash handling / POS operations. English language skills are an asset.

Entry-level — open to candidates with little or no prior experience; commercial training or prior experience in retail/food sales is advantageous. Some experience supervising or coordinating a small team is a plus.

Commercial/business diploma or equivalent professional experience.
