Le Bon Marché is recruiting a Human Resources Business Partner for a six-month fixed-term contract within its HR team supporting head-office and corporate functions. Reporting to the HR Manager, the role partners with teams across Operations, Marketing, Artistic and Image, Finance and IT, and contributes to recruitment, employee relations, personnel administration, employment-law compliance and the implementation of HR and compensation policies.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, interviews and approvals, as well as pre-boarding and onboarding for new employees.
- Advise managers on HR issues and day-to-day matters.
- Monitor employees throughout their time with the company.
- Manage personnel administration, including contracts, amendments and employee records, and liaise with other departments.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation.
- Contribute to the Maison’s HR policy under the HR Manager’s responsibility.
- Participate in implementing the compensation policy, including salary proposals.
- Coordinate and lead various social initiatives and agreements.
Qualifications
- Higher education qualification in Human Resources.
- Initial experience as a Human Resources Officer or HR Business Partner, ideally in retail.
- Enthusiastic, dynamic and proactive, with a strong commitment to serving as a trusted partner to employees.
- Customer-oriented, service-minded and an effective communicator, able to build strong working relationships.
- Passionate about retail, able to identify talent and represent the company’s professions to candidates.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Solid knowledge of employment law to manage operational matters in collaboration with managers.
- Adaptable, a good listener and discreet.

At least 3 years; initial experience as a Human Resources Officer or HR Business Partner, ideally in retail.
Education
Higher education qualification in Human Resources.
