Samaritaine Paris seeks General Accountant (CDI, full-time). Join the re-internalization of accounting for this iconic luxury retailer reporting to LVMH.
Role & Responsibilities
- Control and reconciliation of inter-company accounts within the group
- Recording and entry of all accounting documents
- Account matching and reconciliation
- Analysis and monitoring of balance sheet accounts
- Organization and supervision of accounting data entry deadlines
- Preparation and generation of trial balances, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements
- Processing of miscellaneous accounting transactions
- Preparation of quarterly financial statements, year-end procedures, and regulatory reporting
- Preparation of fiscal declarations (VAT, DES, EMBI, IS, CVAE, C3S, etc.)
- Management and tracking of fixed assets
- Liaison with external auditors on accounting matters
- Monitoring of accounting standards evolution and proper application
- Active participation in continuous improvement projects for accounting procedures and tools
Qualifications
- DCG (Diplôme Supérieur de Comptabilité), DSCG, or DEC qualification
- Minimum 5–6 years of experience in a similar accountant role
- Proficiency with French accounting standards and IFRS
- Operational English language skills
- Mastery of SAP or comparable ERP system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and technical accounting competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience
Minimum 5–6 years of accounting experience in a similar role, preferably gained in both accounting firms and corporate environments, with demonstrated expertise in French accounting standards and IFRS.
Education
DCG (Diplôme Supérieur de Comptabilité), DSCG, or DEC qualification required.
