Groupe Bon Marché in Paris seeks a Fire Safety Officer (SSIAP 2) — full‑time CDI to manage prevention, evacuations and staff safety across its sites.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous prevention of fire and health risks across Le Bon Marché, Les Grandes Épiceries de Paris, associated offices and warehouse through surveillance, security rounds and verification of evacuation systems.
- Respond to confirmed incidents by coordinating and conducting evacuations, intervening on early-stage fires and managing assistance to affected persons.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports and regulatory documentation related to fire safety operations.
- Contribute to staff preparedness by delivering training and awareness sessions on fire risks, evacuation procedures and use of firefighting equipment.
- Operate in strict compliance with applicable fire-safety regulations for ERP and IGH environments (MS46, M29 and related standards) and under the direction of the Fire Safety Team Leader.
Qualifications
- SSIAP 1 and SSIAP 2 certifications required and up to date.
- Minimum five years of operational experience in fire-safety roles, preferably in public-facing or retail environments.
- Strong knowledge of fire detection, alarm and evacuation systems and practical experience with firefighting equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure, strong organisational skills, teamwork orientation and rapid decision-making.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for ERP/IGH sites and experience producing compliance documentation and training materials.

Minimum 5 years of relevant operational experience in fire safety, ideally within venues that receive the public (department stores, food halls, cultural sites or large commercial buildings).
Education
Vocational certification in fire safety: SSIAP 1 and SSIAP 2 (required).
