Groupe Bon Marché — Paris: Experiences Project Manager (CDD) to design and deliver in‑store events and spectacles for Le Bon Marché and La Grande Epicerie.
Role & Responsibilities
- Co‑design the annual programme of on‑site experiences and events (ON and OFF) for Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche and La Grande Epicerie de Paris in partnership with the Artistic Director and the Director of Experiences.
- Coordinate cross‑functional rollout of experiences, aligning operations, store teams, marketing and communication with internal processes and constraints.
- Plan and deliver all operational aspects of events: scheduling, internal organisation, budget management, supplier and talent follow‑up, accreditation and permits.
- Set up and manage ticketing: collate visuals, craft event copy and author event briefs and listings.
- Organise client reception and in‑store guest flow, ensuring a premium customer experience.
- Manage logistics for artists, speakers and VIPs and ensure operational readiness for performances and spectacles.
- Propose pricing and cadence models to the Director of Experiences to improve profitability and monitor event budgets.
- Provide advance programming information to Client Marketing and Communications teams within agreed timelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in events, live performances or experiential programming within retail, cultural or lifestyle environments.
- Strong organisation, rigor and proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English (English fluency mandatory).
- Creative sensibility, cultural curiosity and up‑to‑date awareness of trends in fashion and food.
- Commercial acumen with experience managing event budgets and supplier negotiations.
- Ability to work on site in Paris and to coordinate operational teams and external partners.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years’ hands‑on experience in event conception and coordination, including live performances or spectacles, preferably within retail, cultural programming or the luxury sector.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in event management, arts management, marketing, communications or a related discipline preferred.
