La Grande Épicerie de Paris seeks a Dining Room Commis (Runner) in Paris for a permanent 35h full‑time role at the restaurant La Table.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver dishes from the kitchen to the dining room and ensure correct placement at guest tables.
  • Assist with mise en place, table setting, clearing and resetting during and after service to maintain continuous table turnover.
  • Maintain cleanliness of service stations, the dishwashing area (plonge) and the restaurant office; ensure compliance with hygiene rules.
  • Prepare basic beverages and support the bar/service team with drink assembly.
  • Welcome and inform guests on arrival, responding promptly to requests to enhance the guest experience and drive restaurant revenue.
  • Participate in daily restaurant operations including cleaning, receiving and storing deliveries, and stock rotations/inventories.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years' professional experience in restaurant service or similar customer‑facing hospitality roles.
  • Proven client service orientation with commercial awareness and the ability to work in a high‑volume, luxury food environment.
  • Strong team spirit, reliability, organisational rigour and autonomy.
  • English language skills are a plus.
