The Concierge provides personalized client assistance, recommendations, and solutions while coordinating concierge services and relationships with guides, drivers, tour operators, and other partners. The role is a full-time permanent position based on site at Samaritaine in Paris, with weekend work including Sundays and public holidays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Respond to client requests and direct clients within and outside the store according to their needs.
- Provide concierge services, including arranging transportation, delivering purchased products, and managing reservations.
- Keep information about the store’s services, events, and activities up to date.
- Issue purchase cards when needed and accurately record client data.
- Issue privilege discount cards to eligible clients in support of Personal Shoppers.
- Follow up on client requests, including complaints and repairs.
- Maintain knowledge of activities in Paris to address client expectations effectively.
- Maintain relationships with major Parisian organizations to respond to client requests.
- Coordinate the schedule and programming of guided store visits with the Marketing team.
- Maintain good professional relationships with tour operators, guides, and drivers.
- Assist Personal Shoppers with coordinating private visits, receptions, events, and other tailored services requested by clients.
- Help organize and participate in the store’s promotional and public relations activities.
- Provide personalized, high-quality service and recommendations, anticipate client needs, and offer effective solutions.
- Coordinate with guides, drivers, and tour operators to optimize visitor flows and ensure a smooth client experience.
Qualifications
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent, preferably specializing in hospitality and/or services.
- Experience in a similar role or in luxury hospitality.
- Essential knowledge of basic computing.
- Fluent English; any other language is an advantage.
