Groupe Bon Marché seeks Commercial Operations Project Manager Intern at La Grande Epicerie de Paris; hybrid internship in luxury gourmet retail operations and brand curation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Benchmark emerging brands and curate selections for pop-up activations in line with commercial calendars; conduct outreach and negotiate partnership terms
- Lead pre-launch preparation and operational oversight of brand installations within store environments, managing approximately two pop-up activations monthly and tracking subsequent sales performance and billing reconciliation
- Support the sourcing function by identifying on-trend brands aligned with commercial briefs, compiling catalogues, tariffs and product samples, and verifying regulatory compliance before system entry
- Monitor real-time product installations across locations, track logistics and administrative workflows for each activation, and analyse sales data to prepare comprehensive performance reviews and optimisation recommendations
- Co-develop internal briefs and detailed project timelines (PowerPoint and Teams formats); maintain rigorous coordination of master schedules through weekly synchronisation sessions across Buying, Commercial, and Communications teams
- Author point-of-sale collateral in collaboration with Quality Assurance and Creative Direction departments; conduct regular competitive benchmarking of fine food retail environments and seasonal trends to inform strategic positioning
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business school or equivalent programme (gap year or final-year internship)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in French and English
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and standard office applications
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with meticulous attention to detail
- Genuine passion for gastronomy, fine food retail, and luxury consumer experiences
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence and collaborate across functions
