Role & Responsibilities

• Lead budget construction processes with Department Directors, defining market strategy and challenging assumptions while ensuring alignment with Group timelines (revenue, margin, personnel costs) and presenting budgets to Group COMEX
• Monitor P&L performance through continuous budget tracking, forecast revisions, and personnel expense management, while developing improved analytical tools and chairing regular steering meetings with departmental leaders
• Collaborate with Buyers on seasonal purchase planning, participate in negotiations, challenge spending proposals based on sales analysis, and ensure compliance with defined purchase envelopes and stock management objectives
• Conduct end-of-season performance reviews and ensure continuous monitoring of key commercial KPIs, perform variance analysis against targets, and provide concrete recommendations for performance optimization
• Support commercial surface evolution initiatives and drive continuous improvement across the commercial portfolio

Qualifications

• Master's degree (Bac +5) from a business school or equivalent university qualification with specialization in Finance or Management
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Control, Performance Management, or similar roles, preferably within retail or multi-department distribution environments
• Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities with exceptional rigor and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to present to and engage non-financial stakeholders and experienced operational leaders
• Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously, anticipate priorities, manage competing demands, and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to challenge experienced colleagues constructively while identifying optimization opportunities and solutions

Skills

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Finance Control, Financial Piloting, or Performance Management, preferably in retail environments with exposure to operational dynamics and multi-departmental management. Management experience is advantageous.

Education

Master's degree (Bac +5) from a business school or equivalent university qualification with specialization in Finance or Management accounting.
