Role & Responsibilities

  • Gather and formalise business requirements from sales and client teams, translating field needs into technico‑functional specifications and user stories.
  • Assist the Client IT Project Manager in drafting detailed specifications and challenging business requests to ensure alignment with project objectives and technical constraints.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers and development teams to design solution approaches and ensure correct interpretation of requirements across systems (CRM, loyalty, clienteling, POS, marketing platforms).
  • Investigate and analyse system behaviour using SQL/SOQL queries, log analysis and JSON/XML inspection to qualify incidents and assess impact.
  • Define and execute test strategies and plans (functional, integration, regression), run test campaigns, log anomalies and follow issues through to resolution.
  • Validate deliverables and implementation quality prior to production deployments, and contribute to deployment and release activities where required.
  • Contribute to project documentation (functional, technical, test cases) and propose process improvements, including ideas for test automation and deployment optimisation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, project management or equivalent (Bac+3 to Bac+5).
  • Minimum 3 years' professional experience; 3–5 years preferred, ideally in retail or luxury contexts and in a multi‑application IT environment.
  • Proven experience in AMOA / functional business analysis, requirements formalisation, and software testing.
  • Demonstrable ability to investigate technical issues (SQL/SOQL, log analysis, JSON/XML) and to translate business needs into technical acceptance criteria.
  • Familiarity with agile practices and experience producing user stories and acceptance criteria.

Experience

Minimum 3 years' experience in IT business analysis, AMOA, or functional testing within a retail or luxury environment; experience across CRM, clienteling, loyalty and point‑of‑sale ecosystems preferred.
